Christmas in Bormio - Kilde leading the total WC

The Christmas speed races in Bormio this year started with the cancelled DH from Val Gardena, won by the "King of Bormio", Domenic Paris (ITA), followed by Beat Feuz (SUI) and Matthias Mayer (AUT). Photo from FIS.

The original Bormio DH on December 28th was also topped by "Domme" Paris, now surprisingly followed  by a "new" Swiss star named Urs Kryenbuehl and Beat Feuz. Aleksander Aamodt Kilde (NOR) came in number four in both the Downhill races and took the second place in the Alpine Combined after Alexis Pinturault (FRA). Kilde is now leading the total Alpine World Cup, having gained good points in all disciplines except SL. Adrian Smiseth Sejersted (NOR) shows stability always beeing within the best 20 racers in DH, while Kjetil Jansrud (NOR) never really became friendly with the Downhill in Bormio.
